Jack’s 1st Burger Bash
We hosted Jack’s first birthday last weekend at my parent’s house – a burger bash! I’m sharing all the details from his burger birthday – a super fun and easy theme to work with if you are hosting a birthday party in the near future!
We served Dick’s Cheeseburgers and French Fries for dinner because what is better than a Dick’s Cheeseburger?! I ordered these Red Oval Fast Food Baskets and Red Check Food Basket Liners to put each party guest’s burger and fries in.
Megan recommended checking QFC for a burger smash cake because I wasn’t having any luck and sure enough! I never would have guessed QFC has so many great cake options! Check out QFC the next time you are in need of a fun cake!
I ordered Dairy Queen Dilly Bars for dessert for the rest of our guests. My goal was to find a gourmet Ice cream bar and these did the trick!
The party decor was super simple, well minus the balloon garland, but otherwise old-school glass coke bottles, old-school ketchup and mustard dispensers, a burger and number “1” balloon, a “Jack 1st Birthday Bash” banner and some fun red and white checked napkins made for the easiest party I’ve ever thrown! I didn’t realize Amazon sells balloon garland kits now?! This is the garland kit I used – so much easier! Jack’s Burger Bash sign is from Display & Costume in Northgate. My brother’s fiancĂ© actually ordered the sign for me en route to my other brother’s fiancĂ©’s bachelorette party – haha – it takes a village!
Jack and Joe both wore this cute little MudPie tee and cape for their first birthday parties (luckily it worked with both color schemes ;)). I couldn’t find the exact item but MudPie has a bunch of other birthday shirt options if you are in the market!
The weather cooperated more than expected and it was a stress-free, fun party spent with the people who love our sweet boy the most!
