Gift Ideas for Kids

Here are our ideas for our kiddos this year. We all joke that we might give Emma a barbie for Christmas just to see her reaction……

Bounce house. We are looking to upgrade/upsize our bounce house. I’ve said it a million times, but it truly the best investment we’ve made as parents. Use it indoors and outside all year round; I promise you won’t regret it. Which one should we get?

Build your own fort kit. Build your own fort kit. Are your kids as obsessed with forts as ours are? Time to get them something so they don’t use all of our throw blankets and nice pillows.

Swurfer Tree Swing. The kids will LOVE this. They love to pretend like they are surfing, skate boarding etc so I can only imagine how much they will love this. Found less expensive here.

Keyboard Playmat. I can so picture Jack jumping on this this. Jumping and noise/music = two of his favorite things.

Solo Soccer Trainer. The twins have these and love them. Joe will be getting one from Santa.

Youth Goal-Post Set We have this and the kids love practicing their punts and throwing through it to it each other.

Frisbees. We have talked about these before. The best frisbees for kids. They play with them all the time and are easier for them to throw and catch. Jack even loves them.

Rocket Ship Tent. Jack loves anything like this that he can hide in/play in. I can already picture him wearing his astronaut helmet in it.

Any battery-powered vehicle. Our parents have a fleet of these for our kids and they never get old. Our kids always look forward to going to grandma and grandpas and “driving cars”.

Kids Wallet. Kids LOVE having their own wallet. Joe keeps all of his ice cream. Give a kiddo a wallet with a few dollars and a few pretend cards and I’m sure they will be thrilled.

Glow in the Dark Lawn Darts. A fun game for indoors or out!

Off-Road Remote Control Jeep. Every kid loves remote control cars and this one is realistic and practically indestructible – unlike must remote control cars that break after using it twice.

Brio Remote Control Race Car. Finally a legit remote control car that toddlers can drive while the big sibling drives their own.

Richard Scarry’s Busytown Board Game: Eye Found it If your kids love finding the goldbug in the Richard Scary book, I’m sure they will love this. So much imaginative stimulation for little ones.

Magna-Tiles/ Magna-Cubix. These seem expensive but they are so worth it. Magnetic 3D tiles that my kids love – you can never have enough. I think the cubes are better for younger kiddos.

Story Time Chess. My oldest has been wanting to learn chess and this would be such a better way! The twins love chess too! I have no idea how to play so good thing my husband does…

Giant Shiny Dinosaur Dominoes. Another games my kids always want to play but haven’t quite figured out – such a great option!

Erasable Drawing Pad/Doodle Board. I’m always surprised by how long my kids can sit and draw with these. They love them! Great for travel too.

I’m also considering/tempted not getting anything small this year and just get one big backyard playset or spring-free trampoline for the kids. Does anyone have any recommendations or experience with either? Happy shopping!
