Our Summer Essentials
How is it already mid July?! These precious few months of Summer go way too fast. We rounded up all of the items we have been using on the daily during these warm sunny days when we are spending as much time outside as possible with the kids. Last night we had a pizza and wine night at the beach/park – such a great way to spend a pretty evening. Try it!
JCrew Factory Straw Bucket Bag – the cutest Summer accessory that is Megan’s go to when she isn’t at work.
Kids Face Sunscreen Stick – THE BEST kids sunscreen. It goes on so easy and smoothly – you’ll understand when you buy it. Now of course it’s the only one our kids want to use and I keep one in the beach bag, diaper bag, my purse etc.
Easy Lunch/Snack Boxes – these are so nice for easy lunches and snacks at the park now that we are always out and about in the sunshine.
Elta Md Face Tinted SPF / Regular SPF – Don’t forget your SPF! Tinted for the days I’m putting make up and trying to look presentable and regular for the days where I’m working out and just running around the kids aka most days.
AGOLDE Parker Denim Shorts / Parker Denim Longer Version – I finally invested in a nicer pair of denim shorts and they are worth it! Everyone needs a good go to pair of denim shorts right? Right.
Birkenstocks – my summer slippers! They are so darn comfortable but thankfully cuter than most slippers when you buy they in a fun color like white and/or rose gold and I love that you can wear then with jean shorts or even a short or midi dress.
Boys Swim shirts / Zip-Up Swim Shirt – the best boys swim shirts at the best price. Then all you need is the face stick above and you are basically done! Megan also loves these zip up rash guard swimsuits for Emma – so many prints to choose from and 50% off right now!
Cold Brew Coffee – have you made Megan’s magical cold brew yet? Omg it’s so good – very similar to Starbucks Brown Sugar Oat milk Shaken Espresso. Order this coffee and make it! It’s so nice to have on sunny mornings.
Frisbees – Chris bought these for the kids and they have been a huge hit – so much so that Megan’s kids needed their own. They are used on the daily around here. They are also obsessed with these water balloons and they are so much easier than the regular old water balloons.
Lulu Lemon Belt Bag/Fanny Pack – I’ve said it once and and I’ll say it again – this belt bag comes in so handy and truly comes everywhere with me these days – on walks, grocery store, the park, beach… everywhere! I keep my wallet and cards in it and that way I don’t have to worry about setting my diaper bag somewhere and having valuables in it. Plus it comes in so many fun colors!
