Stay At Home Sushi Night
I am by no means a sushi expert but I love to host a stay at home sushi night. Our good friends who moved to Eastern Washington stayed with us last weekend and I was excited to treat them to a tasty Seattle Sushi evening. It’s not a secret that we have great seafood in Seattle and our friends were ready to indulge in some great sushi they have been missing on the Eastside of the mountains.
I started the evening by offering Sapporo beer and my spin on a Sake Spritz. The original recipe I found called for Plum Sake and mango-flavored seltzer water, so why not add mango white claw?! My Sake Spritz was surprisingly refreshing and the perfect cocktail for a stay at home sushi evening. Made even better served in my cute new outdoor ombre pitcher and tumblers. Next time I want to try this!

After the Sapporo and Sake Spritz we went back to our routes to kick off Washington Wine month and pulled out a magnum of my favorite Washington Rose – Tranche Pink Pape. These Cashmere folk could barely get enough 😉
We don’t get out much these days – I’m sure you can relate – so making our nights at home a little more exciting every once in a while always feels good! Try it and tag us on instagram!
