It’s St. Patricks day so we didn’t feel right about writing a post that wasn’t somewhat on theme for the holiday – AKA GREEN! Do you know why you’re even supposed to wear green on St. Patty’s day in the first place? Well, I didn’t until my Stanford graduate lawyer of a sister sent me this article: wearing green symbolizes Irish Republicanism, a movement from the 18th century that campaigned for Ireland becoming an independent republic.
