Easter Menu Inspiration

What are you making your bunnies for Easter? Have you finalized your menu for your Easter celebration yet? Our mom asked us to bring Chrissy Teigen’s Everything Bagel Cream Cheese Breakfast Bake (recipe available here) to our family’s annual egg hunt but I haven’t decided what other Easter goodies I will be hauling to Redmond with me yet. As I was searching my Pinterest, Instagram, and iPhone pictures for recipe inspiration, I also came across these gems from past Easters that I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share.

And, now that I have stopped crying…. back to Easter menu planning. Here are some Easter menu options we made and posted about last year, including Carrot Sheet Pan Pancakes, Carrot Cake Baked Oatmeal and Bacon-Wrapped Carrots.

And here are some other fun Easter recipe ideas that I am considering for this year. Last year, I used The BakerMama’s technique to make bunny cinnamon rolls using store-bought dough. Meagan even has a tutorial for these bunny cinnamon rolls on her Instagram handle @thebakermama. Check it out! These pastel-colored deviled eggs are too fun. If only my children ate eggs….Martha Stewart’s bunny cookies are too cute, taste like a cross between a shortbread and sugar cookie, and look WAY more complicated to make than they actually are. Highly recommend! This How Sweet Eats’ Roasted Carrot Salad may be just the thing to counter act the copious amounts of sweets I plan to indulge in on Easter Sunday. These pound cake eggs with lemon curd are both adorable and tasty. Originally I followed this Martha Stewart recipe, but once I became a mom, I quickly shifted to using boxed pound cake and jarred lemon curd. Let me tell you how much Ryan loves that I store an egg-shaped pan that I use once a year! And, are you as guilty as me of purchasing too much Easter candy? I plan to follow the KALEJUNKIE’s lead and use some of my Cadbury Mini Eggs to decorate some brownies. My brownies, however, will definitely be out of box and not even slightly healthy-ish.

For the past several years, I have been bringing a fun themed cocktail to our family’s Easter celebration. You can find all the recipes for our cocktails of Easters’ past here, including Carrot Mimosas, Carrot Margaritas, and Carrot Limeade. Hmmm, do I sense a certain orange vegetable theme?!?! But this year, I am committed to branching out from carrots and found these adorable Easter cocktail options, including these chocolate bunny cocktail mugs, Peeps martinis, and cottontail margaritas. Which would you choose?

Do you have any fun Easter recipes that we should try out? We would love to hear about them in our comment section! And, if you happen to make one of our Easter menu suggestions, let us know by posting a picture on our Instagram handle @letswineaboutitsister. Wishing everyone a very happy Easter!
