Highlights from Megan’s Birthday Weekend

No one should be surprised that we spent the weekending wining and dining with the birthday girl! Here are the highlights:

Chateau Igloo Wine Tasting

Who doesn’t want to sip wine in a private igloo? The igloo comes complete with a bottle of wine, charcuterie board, speaker and heater! It was shockingly warm and such a unique experience! We ordered a few more of our favorite Ste. Michelle bottles and french fries from the Metropolitan Grill (currently catering the igloos). So fun!

Isenhower Cellars

Before heading home, we also had to stop by Isenhower Cellars new tasting room in Woodinville. Exciting to have more great Walla Walla wine open a tasting room in Woodinville; they even spoiled us with little champagne to celebrate the birthday girl.

Spicy Tok Bistro

We polished off the evening by picking up Spicy Tok Bistro Chinese food en route home from wine tasting. IT WAS SO GOOD. Unfortunately, we demolished everything before taking any pictures (sorry not sorry). They are currently only open for Take-out and we all feel it’s the best Chinese food around. Don’t miss the Mongolian beef, spicy green beans, hand cut noodles with pork, General Tsos chicken and pot stickers!

Matching Aerie Velour Joggers and Sweatshirt

I gave Megan the same Velour Aerie matching set she gave me for Christmas because I just love it so much. It’s so comfortable and on MAJOR sale right now. So naturally we both wore them on Megan’s actual day of birth because matching is more fun. I also gave her the Aerie Bralette that everyone says is the BEST ever because I live in Aerie Bralettes now.

Canlis Family Meal

Last but not least, after lounging in our matching sweatsuits sipping Lambrusco, Megan completed her birthday with a take-out family meal from Canlis. Kalbi short ribs, Ahi Tuna poke, and toasted coconut cake were just a few of the highlights. YUM. Now we are really hoping we can get a reservation for a Canlis Yurt!
