Ready for Rosé

Sun and Rosé go hand and hand for me. I’m ready for both.

My favorite Rosé is the Tranche Pink Pape, but at $20 bottle it’s not something I am going to drink every night; it’s more of a weekend wine in this household.

My favorite special occasion Rosé is the Karma Vineyards Pink bubbles. It is delicious, significant because Chris and I were married there and drank Pink on our wedding day, and sitting at Karma in the Summer and drinking their champagne tasting flight is one of my favorite things ever.

Me in my happy place, Karma, with the best Champagne flight around

So, if you are fancy, you should drink the Tranche or Karma anytime you reach for a Rosé this Spring/Summer. But, if you are like me and need something at a little lower price point, I have two great options for you.

At $12 a bottle, The Mr. Pink Rosé is both super cute to look at and delicious. I had been drinking this cute Rosé for over a year before I realized it was a side project of the Mark Ryan Winery – who knew? It is a great alternative to the more expensive Tranche.

If you are looking for a Sparkling Rosé and can’t make it to Karma ;), my soon to be sister-in-law, Laura, just found a great option at Trader Joe’s. The Cecilia Beretta Vino Spumante Rosé Extra Dry is tasty and the prettiest light pink color for a whopping $7.99 – you can’t beat it. We opened a bottle of Cecilia B. following Veuve the other day, and it still tasted good; I feel like that says a lot! It turns out we aren’t the only ones that feel this way either; check out this article on Trader Joe’s 10 best wines. Obviously we’ll be trying the Emma Reichart Rosé the article recommends!

Last but not least, if you haven’t had the Frosé at Mr. West Cafe Bar , you are missing out. I very impressively downed 3 Frosés one beautiful day last Summer sitting on Mr. Wests patio and I’m counting down the days until I can do it again.

Cheers!
