Spicy Pretzels

I’m excited to share the spicy pretzel recipe that is a fan favorite! I make spicy pretzels for nearly every party I host, I bring them as an appetizer to happy hours, a hostess gift to friend’s houses, and I even included them in our welcome wedding bags. Anyone who tries these spicy pretzels ends up asking me for the recipe. A co-worker from my school counseling days brought these in to share and multiple copies of the recipe at the same time because she knew everyone would be asking for it. They are that good. I like to package them in cellophane bags and tie with a cute ribbon. Fair warning – once you start – you won’t be able to stop!

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 (1 oz) package of dry ranch dressing mix
  • 1 1/2 packages of mini pretzels (16 oz bag)
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper
  • 3/4 cup of vegetable oil

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the ranch dressing mix, spices and oil.
  2. Place pretzels in a large sealable plastic bag.
  3. Pour mixture over the top of pretzels and shake well.
  4. Allow pretzels to marinate in the mixture for at least two hours (ideally overnight) before serving.
  5. Shake occasionally to maintain coating.
