What I’m Packing for Hawaii: Mumus & More

Chris told me the other day the only things I look at these days are mumus and nursery furniture – and he’s not wrong. We are heading to Hawaii next week and I’ve never been when I’m so pregnant… and large and swollen and uncomfortable. Hence, the mumus. The goal is to be as comfortable as possible while covering as much of my body as possible – haha sad but true. Anyways, in case you are also heading somewhere warm in the near future, I’m sharing my packing list below.

Sandals – everyone needs a neutral pair of sandals that go with everything that you can wear to the pool or out to lunch. And how good are these Valentino dupes? I ordered in all colors.

Packable Sun hat – I searched high and low for a packable, neutral (aka no black ribbon) somewhat “buckety” sun hat and I finally found it.

Mesh beach bags – I love these Target beach bags – they are so easy to pack that I can bring multiple colors, they don’t get dirty and they can hold everything you need taking two little boys and a husband to the beach or pool.

Airport Outfit – I ordered these Joggers and oversized Sweatshirt for a comfortable plane flight with these cute New Balance sneakers.

Swimsuits – I invested in a Hunza G swimsuit – pricier than my average swimsuit but so comfortable and so nice that I can wear pregnant and after being pregnant – worth the investment I think! They are one size fits all (sizes 4-12) – they stretch and retract to give shape without losing its own. So now of course I want this one and this one too. I also bought these less $$ swimsuits that I will toss after this baby is out!

Cover Ups I ordered and love this one, this one, and these sarongs. Good thing I like them because they won’t be coming off.

Mumus – Per my fellow pregnant friend’s recommendation, and after looking high and low for mumus, I decided to sign up for Nuuly – Women’s clothing Rental – subscribe and rent any 6 styles, every month, for $88. They have so many designers that are exactly what I was looking for – think Anthropologie and Free People flowy maxi dresses. Check it out!

Aloha, friends!
