Last Minute Spooky Halloween Brownies

Trick out your treats with a plate of spooky brownies! Seven simple and tasty brownies that will keep you right on theme. These last minute Halloween brownies are easy enough for your kids to help with and are the perfect spooky dessert for festivities at home. All of the brownies you see in this post came from one 9 x 13 pan of brownies, require zero baking skills and make for a fun, festive and tasty dessert that do the trick for any spooky occasion! Happy Baking!

Witch’s Brew Brownies

(A.k.a extra Halloween candy brownies)

So simple they really don’t need an explanation; just bake your brownies, a mix or homemade, and about 5 minutes before they are done baking, stick in whatever extra Halloween candy you have laying around, and an eye ball candy or two if you have them!

BOO Brownies

Prepare brownies as you normally would and then let cool completley. When cool, cut into small squares or desired shape. Heat vanilla frosting of your choosing in microwavable bowl uncovered on High 20 to 30 seconds, until frosting can be stirred smooth and fluid. Top each brownie with 1 large marshmallow. Spoon 1 tablespoon frosting over each marshmallow to coat. Use eye candy, black gel or edible markers to make eyes and mouth (when dry).

Bat Brownies

No explanation necessary but just in case: Cut a half of an Oreo (or in this case a Trader Joe’s Halloween JoJo) in half and stick it into the brownie like above and add some eye candy!

Mummy Brownies

Everyone has a few Wilson White Icing Pouches around the house for making spooky mummy and spider web brownies right?…

Spider Web Brownies

Graveyard Brownies

Grab a bag of Milano cookies (mint chocolate is the best in my humble opinion) and use a black edible gel pen or edible marker (linked above) to write the letters R-I-P on the top of each Milano cookie. I also cut the very bottom edge off of my cookies to make the “headstones” a little shorter. Once the brownies have cooled, press a cookie into the top of the brownie, as if it were a grave headstone. Spooky!

Spooky Eyeball Brownies

Clearly there are really just two things you need after reading this post: CANDY EYES (also available at Target) and brownie mix!

Happy Halloween everyone! We hope everyone has a safe, fun and treat-filled day! We would love to see if you make any of these spooky brownies!
