Three Themes in Palm Springs

We are heading to Palm Springs tomorrow for our soon to be sister-in-law Laura’s bachelorette party (!!!) and we are just a little excited. I have had a few kid-free breaks here and there but this is Megan’s first break since before the Pandemic so TBD if she gets on the plane to come home with me on Sunday. Laura’s Maid of Honor and party planning extraordinaire has planned three themed evenings/dinners and given we really love a theme around here we are HERE FOR IT. I had all of my outfits planned but then I decided to set up my game with RENT THE RUNWAY. If you sign up for this Rent The Runway deal right now, you can get 8 items/2 shipments for about $100. I mean, why not?! I would usually spend more than $100 on a single outfit or dress that I only really enjoy wearing once (unfortunately) and given we have so many different events coming up this Summer I’m saving money and going to look fabulous.. right?!

THEME ONE: LEOPARD

Duh. I mean… How lucky am I to be getting a sister in law that loves leopard just as much me?! Megan and I both happen to be wearing black body suits and leopard bottoms and I definitely told Megan she needed a slightly more revealing bodysuit.

Mallory: Zara Black Halterneck Bodysuit & Leopard Maxi Skirt (similar here & here / love this / and almost pulled the trigger on this)

Megan: Nordstrom BP Scoop Stretch Cotton Bodysuit & Leopard High Waisted Shorts (similar here & here)

THEME TWO: PREPPY

The vibe is the Hamptons during memorial day vibes.

Megan: Megan had been wanting this Lake patio dress and this will be the perfect occasion for it (for us moms who don’t show much skin anymore).

Mallory: I bought this Zara dress before I knew about the themes but I love it and wanted to find a way to make it fit the theme! I ordered this orange headband and I’m wearing some coordinating glitzy Tory Burch slides (similar here) to prep it up a bit.

THEME THREE: FLORAL

Flirty, floral and thriving.

Mallory: I was originally planning to wear this Zara Floral Print Jumpsuit (similar here) but then thought I should step up my game a bit and signed up for the Rent The Runway deal per Laura’s suggestion. My first shipment arrives today and I ordered this dress for floral night.

Megan: Megan got super lucky with an H&M dress that is now nowhere to be found online. Ugh. But here are a few similar and budget friendly florals: off the shoulder , mini and maxi.

Our outfits, Prosecco pong, sun hats and sunscreen are packed! Follow us being fabulous in Palm Springs on Instagram 🙂
