Hope & Henry

Do you have a favorite store or brand that is your “go to” when shopping for your kids’ special occasion clothes? I have what might be a new one for you: Hope & Henry.

I have never received more compliments about my kids’ clothing than when my daughter wore this dress to a school function:

Fellow moms and teachers would randomly stop me on the street for weeks afterwards to ask about this dress. It was my first purchase from Hope & Henry via Amazon and I could not have been more impressed with the quality and price point ($26.95). While I am always very hesitant to make my first clothing purchase from an online retailer sight-unseen (no one wants this Grandma dress-situation), I would describe Hope & Henry clothing as comparable to the quality and style of Janie and Jack but at a much more affordable cost. While this dress is no longer available for purchase, the brand has numerous adorable options online now at www.hopeandhenry.com or via Amazon, like:

This rainbow seersucker option:

This flutter sleeve bow back dress:

Or this adorable jumpsuit:

And, while I have been impressed with the clothing items I have purchased from Hope & Henry for my kids, admittedly I hadn’t taken the time to research the company until writing this post.

Hope & Henry has expanded rapidly since launching online in September 2017, first selling on Amazon.com and then through its own website. The company’s vision is to make organic apparel that is affordable to more people. It uses organic cotton and recycled fibers to manufacture its clothes for quality, produces classic styles that can be passed down to other children and become heirlooms, and plans to share its profits with its garment workers in Bangladesh, China, India and elsewhere.  Read more about Hope & Henry here.

So, while Hope & Henry unfortunately doesn’t yet have a brick and mortar location in the Seattle area, I will definitely be shopping them online for the numerous wedding events we have coming up in our family in the next year+ (more about that later) as I am even more impressed with the brand after this post. Please let us know if buy anything from Hope & Henry for your kids!
