Hot Chocolate Bar

I love the concept of a hot chocolate bar as soon as December hits. A hot chocolate bar at a brunch, kid-friendly but also with options to spike it of course. PLUS the idea of gifting all the goods to someone else’s household for a fun hot chocolate bar. I am buying all the sweets and treats for a hot chocolate bar when I host a gingerbread house brunch for my girlfriends and kids the first weekend of December. So, I unfortunately don’t have all the cute pictures to show you yet. Which means I’m clearly not a real blogger because if I was I would have set this all up just to take pictures – but who has time for that?! But I am telling you early because you have to act fast if you want to get your hands on these things – they are flying off the the shelves. You can find all the fun things at Target and even Trader Joes but if you want to step it up a notch, look at William Sonoma. Here is everything you could possibly need (and more) for an extra festive hot chocolate bar:

Hot Chocolate Bar Sign – and here!

William Sonoma Fancy Hot Chocolate & Hot Cocoa Bar Kit

Tree and Star Marshmallows – really the marshmallow opportunities are endless. Check out these Marshmallow Kabobs, Snowflake Marshmallows, Peppermint Marshmallows and these Festive Jumbo Marshmallows. Look at TJ Maxx for some great options too. I can’t stop buying marshmallows and I have no idea what I’m going to do with them all. Come over for hot chocolate!

Santa Mugs – they keep going out of stock – grab them while you can! Or if you’d rather not offer breakable mugs, how CUTE are these cocoa cups to go?!

Christmas Garland – to set the stage for your hot chocolate bar of course. And a bar, if you need one :). Great sale here.

Snowman Hot Chocolate Bomb – Hot chocolate bombs are all the rage these days. No powdered hot chocolate necessary. You can also find a similar hot chocolate bomb at Trader Joes if you hurry! Can’t forget the biggest bomb of all. And don’t forget these simple bombs from Target.

Hot Cocoa Spoons / Stir Sticks – find these at Trader Joe’s too!

Mugtoppers! Find them in the marshmallow and cookie varieties – my personal favorite are the gingerbread man cookie mug hangers from Trader Joes!

Chocolate Peppermint Rolled Wafers & Peppermint North Poles – for the cutest hot chocolate toppers.

Spiking options: Chocolate Liqueur like Megan’s Favorite Cocoa Cream Liqueur from Trader Joes, Whipped Cream Vodka or Bailey’s, Bourbon , and more options here.

I can’t wait to show you how my hot chocolate bar turns out in a few weeks! Check back for pictures. XO
