Mother’s Day Gift Ideas
Mother’s Day is just around the corner (May 9th if anyone needs a reminder). Are you in need of gift ideas? Lets Wine About It Sister has you covered. Mallory and I love writing this post because it really should be titled “What Do Mallory and Megan Want for Mother’s Day?”. Here is what we came up with (Chris and Ryan, hint, hint)!
Mallory wants some fresh and cute Spring sneakers for Mother’s Day. She picked out these and these. Are you or your mom in the market for new kicks? J.Crew just announced a bunch of new arrivals for women, including these cute blouses with ruffles and smocking that Mallory has her eye on. Who doesn’t love a good polka dot print?
I, on the other hand, am apparently in the need of a new summer handbag. Aren’t this straw option and sequin option cute? Looking for a Mother’s Day themed gift? This Old Navy T-Shirt and Dear Mom Wine are perfect for the occasion. Summersalt and The Home Edit released a rainbow-filled collaboration today. Summersalt’s quality is amazing, and if the mothers in your life love to organize, this collab is for you! Love the rainbow striped cover-up! J.Crew Factory also released some fun new accessories today, including this bow visor. Make sure to check out their new earrings and shoes too. And I’ve had my eye on this Lake Patio Dress for awhile. Really hoping it shows up with a bow for Mother’s Day.
Both Mallory and I both apparently have home accessorizing on the brain. Mallory is in the process of repainting the exterior of her house and would love this new patio accent table for her freshly painted deck and some new outdoor furniture to complement her yard.
And, with a new home and remodel in process, home accessories are also front and center on my wish list. These stools have been sitting in my Target shopping cart for months and were just marked down to $77/piece. Designed by Studio McGee, wouldn’t they look great in a kitchen? I have tried so hard to be good about not buying furniture until our home remodel construction is completed, but this price drop just may push me over the edge. I think this leopard rug would look great just about anywhere, but I am eyeing it for our owner’s suite closet. Anthropologie’s Fern Collection with a marble top and ballooned feet exudes charm. Cannot decide if I like the nightstand, dresser, or buffet better? These scalloped pots sold by Terrain would look cute in a kitchen window or in a yard. Bring them planted to the mom in your life. Apparently, scallops are also on my mind because I am loving these Pottery Barn scalloped sheets and this scalloped marble picture frame. Ever since my future sister-in-law Laura’s bridal shower, I have been dreaming about a collection of marble picture frames for my new living room. Laura registered and was gifted these from Pottery Barn and I also discovered these from West Elm. Wouldn’t they look great as a collection together? And what mom doesn’t like receiving frames filled with pictures of their kids or grandkids (or granddogs for that matter)?!?!
